If you are a Moana/Māori writer and you are keen to see your upu in print this year, this is your sign to take the leap. It is time to amplify your voice and celebrate our storytellers.

Writers who are selected for inclusion will receive $50.00 (NZD) and a complimentary copy of The Moana Collection.

  • Submissions for the Moana Collection are open. Email your writing along with a brief bio to daniellekionasina@gmail.com.

  • I am looking for:

    🌊 poetry/prose

    🌊 Moana + Māori voices

    🌊 upu about the ocean

  • Ideally, submissions will be under 2,500 words, but there is no official word limit. This is an open call.

  • Submissions will close on the 31st of May.
