I created this weekly publication with the intention of facilitating meaningful connections between Moana communities and creative opportunities for learning, collaboration and cultural nourishment. My hope is that Nu’u Newsletter draws you closer to the people, places and experiences that feed you. We eat better when we’re together.

- Gentle Activism Zine by Filemu Zine
Prompted by a quote I saw in 2022,
whilst feeling pulled in all directions by
the chaos of numerous worthy causes I cared
about deeply. That quote was by monk
and peace activist, Thich Nhat Hanh:
“I will cultivate openness, non-
discrimination, and non-attachment to
views in order to transform violence,
fanaticism, and dogmatism in myself
and in the world."
It grounded me. To decentering ourselves and to reclaiming rest! xx @filemu_zine
